The apartment is in a quiet dead-end street just outside (above) the historic centre of Girona. The entrance of the apartment is on ground level and when you pass the hall you find the first two bedrooms, bathrooms, and the stairs up to the upper floor with the living room, kitchen, third bedroom and the terrace and balcony. We do the check-in directly at the apartment and not from our office. We meet you in front of the entrance. If you let us know your arrival time in advance, we will be there when you arrive. If you come with car, you can mostly load and unload your luggage in front of the apartment although there is no free parking. When you are in the apartment it is for you, and for you alone. It's your home in Girona!
We have our office at Carrer de la Cort Reial 13 (Bravissimo), just a 10-minutes’ walk away, where you can find us for all your questions. We will be happy to answer your questions. For example: bicycle rental, restaurants, places to visit, booking a taxi, printing documents etc.
The apartment is in a quiet dead-end street just outside (above) the Barri Vell (historic centre). The street is quite a bit higher than the centre so if you go to the apartment there is a hill to climb. If you are on a bike, it´s steep but not too long. At the end of the dead-end street there is a nice walking path (with stairs) that leads directly into the Barri Vell. You can get to the apartment with a car, but there is no free parking in the street. The entrance of the apartment is on ground level but it´s a duplex so inside there are stairs. A late check-in is no problem, but we do have a policy (after 21:00). Please note that a late check-in carries the following extra charges: From 21:00 to 23:00, 20 euro; From 23:00 to 00:00, 40 euro; Check-in after 00:00 is in principle not possible. Of course, if your plane is delayed and you arrive after 00:00 we will be there for you. Tourist tax: When we do the check-in your booking is paid via Airbnb, except for the tourist tax. Tourist tax is a local tax that we are obliged to collect and remit to the local government. The tax is 1,10 euro per person (16 years and older) per night, for a maximum of 7 nights.

While there may not be free parking available directly outside the apartment, fear not, as there are convenient parking options nearby. One of the greatest highlights of our neighbourhood is its easy access to the old town. Just a short stroll away, you'll discover a charming walking path or a set of stairs that will lead you directly into the heart of the ancient city. As you traverse these scenic routes, you'll be greeted by picturesque views, historic architecture, and a captivating atmosphere that transports you back in time. Exploring the old town of Girona is a delightful experience, with its well-preserved medieval walls, cobblestone streets, and enchanting alleys. Lose yourself in the vibrant colours of the houses along the Onyar River, marvel at the grandeur of the Cathedral, and indulge in the local cuisine at the quaint cafes and restaurants that line the streets. When you're ready to unwind after a day of exploration, return to our peaceful. Whether you choose to relax on the terrace, or cosy up indoors and enjoy the modern comforts, our space offers a haven of tranquillity.
Girona has its own airport just 20 min away by taxi (around 40 euro) or you can go by bus for around 3 euro and that will take you about 30 min. Buses will stop at the train station in Girona which is a 15-20 min walk from the apartment. The train station has a high-speed connection with Barcelona. In around 35 min you will be in the heart of that other great city of Catalunya. By train you can for instance also go to Figueres to visit the well know and beautiful Dalí museum. If you come by car you must consider the parking options. The apartment is in a dead-end street without free parking. However, you can mostly stop in front for a few minutes so you can unload your luggage, but after that you must park the car somewhere else. There are several places to park available near the apartment. For instance, on Carrer de Bellavista and Carrer dels Caputxins. Or the parking area´s on Passeig Fora Muralla, or Carrer Vista Alegre. There is a paid parking garage available which we highly recommend: Parking Saba Santa Caterina: Plaça de l’hospital. It is just a 10 minutes’ walk away and they offer a multi-day ticket that is convenient and affordable. If you are interested, we can arrange it for you.
